After far too long, Donnie's bathroom is done. Will have before and after pictures soon. With that out of the way, I have more time to devote to things like this. Or playing counterstrike. I gave up warcraft only to play a different game... however I'm not blowing 15 bucks a month on it.
Been watching a ton of movies lately. Weekends are great for that. Doing absolutely nothing is pretty grand. Numerous things we've seen before, but some new stuff I'd not normally picked up. Take Ninja Assassin, for instance. I was surprisingly pleased with it. Revisiting the Jurassic Park series. Have the third one left. Thought I'd watched the second one a while ago, but apparently only watched the very beginning. Also been watching a lot of Madmen. On season 3 right now.
The weather of late has been brisk and windy at best, which puts a damper on my flintknapping time, but I eeked some in. Got to work a slab of cherry quartz. Tried to work it into a reworked Ohio Hopewell point I saw in Waldorf's Story in Stone. It was found in Huron Co. The shape's close, but the color and effect of the stone really sell it.
Looking at places in the city, haven't made our minds up yet. We'll find something sooner or later.
